How to Switch From HR.NET

Extract Your Data
You’ll need to pull all of the information from your existing HR system and save it as a file or collection of files. If you’re struggling with how to do this, you might need to contact HR.NET support for instructions.
Clean Your Data
Before you get this data to your next HR software supplier, you’ll want to make sure it’s all accurate and up to date – you’ll also want to make sure it’s in the correct format for your new HR software supplier to receive. Many will require CSV (Comma Separated Values), but to know for sure, just ask their support team.
Send Your Data
When you’ve found out the format you need to save your data in, then it’s time to send it to your new provider for them to load. Some HR software companies might require you to build your HR software database up from scratch, but most will offer a data load service where they load your old data on your behalf.
Audit Their Work
As soon as you’re able to, try to access your new HR system and check for yourself how your old data looks in its shiny new package. If something isn’t quite right, contact the company’s support team and let them know.
