How to Run a Change Report

Need to run a monthly HR report of employee bank account/address changes within the system in order to pass to payroll? With People’s Query Builder, you can. Here’s how:

First, hit the Queries option on the left hand side. Then, hit the + icon in the top left in order to generate a new query.

In the first column within the new query window, simply scroll down and hit the History option. Then, in the other three columns on the right, again, scroll down and select the appropriate options you wish to bring through in to your report.

As default, the employee’s first name, last name and employee ID will come through into your report.

apply the relevant filters to the report

Hit Next, then apply the relevant filters to the report. To do this, just select the option on the left hand side which you would like to filter on – in this example, I am wanting to filter on the Changed On option, and I am filtering on any changes made This Month.

give your query a Name and a Description

Hit next to give your query a Name and a Description.

hit next to run the report

Finally, hit next to run the report. You can also save the report to your Queries list for future.

When the results show, you will be able to see any changes that have been made, as well as the other options you selected when creating the query. You can also edit the query at any point, to add more options, delete the query, or to export the data to CSV (this is useful if you’ll be passing the report on to another department like payroll).

You can also save the report to your Queries list
