I think it’s safe to say that almost all employers want their employees to be happy. Even if it isn’t for noble reasons like actually caring for their people, the vast majority of employers at the very least realise that happier employees are more productive employees.
This month, the Office for National Statistics released three years’ worth of data on how people in the UK rate their well-being and life satisfaction. So if currently deciding where to open your next office, maybe this table of results will help you decide.
