Feature Release Sneak Peek: Newsfeed Makeover!

March 24, 2016
Newsfeed Makeover

Customer feedback means a lot to us. And one thing we noticed earlier this year, was how many requests we were getting for changes to your company newsfeed.

Well, you’ll be pleased to know that we’ve listened to your feedback, and we’ve got a pretty swish new system upgrade on its way in April. Your company newsfeed will be getting a huge makeover!

We’re upgrading a lot of stuff with your newsfeed, but to help whet your appetite a little, here is a sneak peek of some of the things we’re doing. Enjoy!

1. Assign Non-Admin Newsfeed Managers

“I’d like to select other employees individually who are allowed to upload news bulletins”

Until now, only administrators have been able to create news items and share them with the rest of the workforce.

Once our shiny new update goes live at the beginning of April, you’ll be able to assign any individual user the rights to create company news!

2. A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words

“It would be great to be able to add images to the newsfeed”

Yes, we know that the newsfeed is currently lacking a bit of visual “WOW”, and so we’re going to be adding the ability for you to upload pictures to your news items.

3. Get Creative with the Rich Text Editor

“Could we add some colours and have more fun!?”

Something else we’re doing to let you really go crazy with the way your news looks, is turning the existing news editor into a Rich Text Editor.

In other words, you’ll be able to publish properly formatted company news, taking advantage of different fonts, sizes, colours, layouts and more!

There’s More!

We’re addressing loads more newsfeed requests with this forthcoming update. So hold onto your hats and keep an eye out for your brand new and improved company newsfeed release, arriving at the beginning of April 2016!
